How do you obtain QI?

First piece of advice: Beat your fists against the wall as hard as you can stand. Use thin gloves to soften your beats. Stop still and focus on your hands. You have pumped up QI so that you can feel it. This can be compared with vibration when you have a tingling sensation in your arm or leg and your blood circulation is being restored. But QI vibration is more delicate. Turn all your attention to your hands, listen to QI. By transferring your attention to your body, try to get the same feeling in your spine, back, solar plexus. Not right at once, but you'll manage to do it.

Second piece of advice: You go jogging in the morning (it is better to do it in the evening). If you don't, then start. You need to run long enough so that your legs are tired. You've pumped up QI into your legs. People call this state "sore legs." After that, without being distracted so that you don't lose what you've pumped up, you need to sit down and TURN ALL YOUR ATTENTION to your legs. Listen to QI in your legs. To stimulate QI, use breath. Inhale... and then exhale slowly, lingeringly into your legs, as if you were blowing the coals. After that, continue pumping up QI by breathing, and move QI up into your pelvis and solar plexus by transferring your attention to these areas. Solar plexus is a very beneficial area. It readily responds to QI, and there are many important organs around it. As soon as QI, encouraged by exhaling, will pass out of the centre of the solar plexus as sun rays, it will reach all organs, and they will "hum." They have long been waiting for this. If you have reached QI inside and can stimulate it with your breathing, CONGRATULATIONS! This is your first real YIN Meditation.

QI will stick to the place with some abnormality, pathology. Recovery happens quite quickly — from a few weeks to a few months, depending on your efforts and the degree of pathology.

How to get a PULSE inside the body? The Pulse is not so simple. You can feel it inside in "displaced" states:

— after some good exercise;

— after a full meal, strong tea or coffee;

— after the maximum temperature in sauna

Lie down immediately. You will feel strong, voluminous pulse throughout your body. Join the tips of your fingers in any of these states, and you'll feel a pulse in the tips. Or you can lie down on your back and place your hands under the back of your head and there will be a pulse. Take a mobile in your hand, and you'll feel a pulse in your palm. Fold your arms — there will be a pulse; place your elbows on hard armrests — you will feel a pulse in your elbows. Next, using the obtained pulse as a source, transfer your attention to certain areas of the body — there will be a pulse. If the pulse disappears, transfer your attention to the source and back into the body. If the pulse stops (gets stuck) in one area, there is an abnormality there. This can be compared to a finger injury, where the pulse works until the finger is healed. By listening to the pulse inside, you increase your sensitivity. The abnormality goes over to the threshold of sensitivity and restoration process begins.

Try it. Do what you can do at least somehow. You need to get your body, as well as your consciousness, accustomed to the new. The body and consciousness go together. This is Pranayama that pumps up QI and intensifies your pulse inside.
